Good News For Who
Good news is it? So Brookes thinks it is good news that Sue Tyers has withdrawn her application does he, but good news for who I wonder. Lets not forget Brookes, Sue Tyers put in a lot of good service to this town and she did it for the good of the town. She doesn't have a criminal record, unlike you, she didn't post pornographic pictures after criminally breaking into the Oakham Town Council's noticeboard, unlike you, she has never sued the church for thousands of pounds, unlike you, she has always worked to earn a living, unlike you, she has never posted unwarranted and defamatory blogs, unlike you, and quite frankly she is a far, far better person than you could ever hope to be. At least Sue has the integrity required to be a councillor, UNLIKE YOU!!!!!!

CRB Check This Councillor
How can it be right that an Oakham Town Councillor puts on display pornographic images in an official Oakham Town Council notice board, is subsequently arrested and is then seen taking photographs at Royce Playing fields where there are children present when the new equipment was officially opened. Should a man who obviously has a penchant for displaying pornographic images on a public notice board be allowed anywhere near children? I THINK NOT! As a councillor he may be visiting other establishments where there are children present AND THAT CANNOT BE RIGHT. Perhaps he ought to undergo a CRB check before being allowed anywhere near children again. He certainly needs to be watched very closely.

Time to call it a day, "Cllr" Brookes
If there were anyone left in Oakham who needed proof of how deluded Brookes is, this would be it. Brookes thinks he can carry on regardless after this disgraceful episode:

I have news for Cllr Brookes, the people of Oakham won't forget about this. Anybody else would resign, only someone as morally depraved as Brooksey would wait to be pushed out of office.

A Lonely Figure

Brookes cutting a lonely figure on Saturday morning (17th April 2010) as he stood outside the Victoria Halls hoping some poor unsuspecting soul would speak to him during his surgery. Didn't even see his puppet master turn up to speak to him, how sad is that.
